Who We Serve
We work in Uganda, East Africa, with a diverse array of local partners striving to help children, widows, orphans, persons with disabilities, refugees, internally displaced people and disadvantaged families living in poverty in the urban slums or rural areas.
We leverage our resources along with local resources and efforts of Catholic lay leaders and Apostolates to strengthen communities and build up the Body of Christ.
Keeping Faith – We are inspired by our Catholic faith to bring God’s love and mercy to the vulnerable in our world and seek to fully live the principles of Catholic social teaching.
Creating Opportunity – We collaborate with local communities to facilitate opportunities for people living in poverty to create a more abundant life.
Building Community – We believe in the value of belonging to a community; we work to ensure that through our programs people are connected with a vibrant community to help sustain them through the challenges of life now and in the future.
Leading – We lead by serving others, acting with justice, being compassionate, approaching our work with humility and remembering we are companions on a journey.
