IMG_1097 Laura FaceLaura Frederick is the founder of eChange Endeavors and current Chairperson of the Board. She started this non-profit as a way of expanding her work with eChange Consulting to reach out to more disadvantaged people.  She has worked in international development for nearly 20 years in a variety of capacities.  From 2006 to 2011 she lived in Uganda, during which time she initiated these endeavors and developed the partnerships.  She is currently living in Los Angeles, CA.  She holds a MSc in International and Development Economics from the University of San Francisco and a MA in International Management from SIT.

 

Photo Michelle WatersMichelle Waters, founder of Interchange Consulting, is a leadership strategy consultant, researcher, speaker, author and Executive Coach. She has served as a Senior Vice President for several companies in the roles of Development, Diversity and Human Resource. Michelle holds a Masters in Management and Bachelors in Special Education from Monash University, Australia. Michelle is a mother and grandmother. She serves as the treasurer and secretary of the Board.

Bridget Alario is director of a small homeschool group in Hermosa Beach, California, where she has been teaching her 7 children for the past 14 years.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from Georgetown University in International Politics. She has worked for USAID as a junior diplomat and the IMF/World Bank Library in Washington, D.C..  Presently, she is a certified  instructor of the Billings Ovulation Method for natural family planning and trains couples and young girls at local schools and parishes.  She is active in parish in a variety ways involving her children.  She serves as Vice President of the Board.

Jeffrey Seymour is the Director of Mission & Identity at Scranton Preparatory School, a Jesuit high school of northeastern Pennsylvania, where he also teaches 9th grade religion.  Previously he managed a retreat center.  He holds a Master’s in Theology from The University of Scranton, and a BA from the Catholic University of America.  Earlier in his career, he spent two years living and working in Belize as a Jesuit Volunteer.  Jeff served as the Secretary of the Board.

 

 

Catherine Bentley works in international development specializing in social enterprise development. She has an MBA in Global, Social and Sustainable Enterprise from Colorado State University. In this regard, she spent nearly six months living in Uganda helping to develop socially minded businesses. She is currently working to develop a social enterprise business for the deaf.  She served previously as our Vice-Chairperson of the Board.

 

Andy T CatanzaroAndy Catanzaro is a medical doctor in Washington DC specializing in AIDS/HIV research and health care.  He has worked with numerous organizations including the National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Disease, George Washington University, Whitman Walker Health Clinic, and Unity Health Care.  He has also been active with the justice and peace ministry at his parish.  He served as the Vice President of the Board.

Lisa Carrol DSCN2541 Lisa J. Barczak has 20 plus years of work experience with international organizations, with an emphasis in client services for accounting and budget professionals, project management, and communications. She has an MA in Latin American Studies from Tulane University, and a BA in English and Spanish from Albion College. Her studies and work-related travel have taken her to Brazil, Guatemala, India, Mexico, and Nicaragua. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her family. She volunteers with her local parish and school. Lisa previously served as the Secretary of the Board.

jean fpfJean Turney is currently the Education Coordinator for Forest Park Forever, a non-profit that maintains and sustains Forest Park, a large urban park in St. Louis, MO. She has 26 years of classroom experience as well international work in Belize, Central America. Jean was able to join the team of facilitators for the Youth Building Peace camps in Uganda. She has a BA degree in Political Science and Communications from Stephens College and a MA in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University.  She previously served as the Secretary of the Board.
